Event Description
So you have a great idea for a documentary but don't know where to start? Before you turn on that camera, there are some important things you need to plan to make your film more assured of success. In this workshop, we will review ways to define and refine your story idea, find and approach potential people to film, put together a production team, and develop a plan for production. As part of this workshop, we will also explore a case study of Indivisible which went from being an idea by a first-time filmmaker to a Peabody-Award winning documentary.

I/II – No prior training at Docs In Progress required.

$45 Early Bird Registration (register/pay through October 3)
$65 Regular Registration (register/pay between October 4 - 15)
