Event Description

Cinematography is the shaping of light. Sometimes you have the tools to do it right, other times you have to make do with what you have. This "bring your own camera" seminar focuses on techniques to capture light by any means available. Today’s camera technologies afford filmmakers a level of self-proficiency that was previously unattainable. It can be intimidating using these cameras effectively to tell your stories. You will learn ways to create movement, optimize camera settings for various shooting conditions and tips for improving composition. We will explore real world challenges with a Q&A session to address your specific cinematography questions.

LEVEL I/II
This course is intended for the beginner to intermediate “solo” camera operator looking to improve image quality.
